1 c Sugar

1 c Oil
1 ts Salt
1 c Molasses
1 ts Cinnamon
1 c Buttermilk
1 ts Baking powder
3 c All-purpose flour
2 ts Baking soda
2 ts Ground ginger

Mix together eggs, sugar, oil, molasses and buttermilk with an electric
mixer. Sift dry ingredients and add to liquid mixture; blend thoroughly,
but do not overmix. Bake in greased and floured 9 by 13 inch pan for 1 hour
