Ingredients For Holiday Oatmeal Cookies

  • 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 1/4 cups sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 3 cups quick oats
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon allspice
  • 1/4 teaspoon ginger powder
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened coconut flakes
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1/2 candied fruit (optional)

How To Make Holiday Oatmeal Cookies?

  1. In a large bowl sift together flour, cinnamon, ginger powder, allspice, baking soda, and salt and give a stir. Ser aside.
  2. Beat the butter, sugar, and brown sugar in a large bowl until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs and vanilla extract and beat to combine, then slowly add the flour mixture beating until the mixture is combined.
  4. Fold in the quick oats, raisins, and coconut until well incorporated into the cookie dough.
