1 pk Cake mix, banana; 18.5 oz. 1/2 c Peanut butter
CREAMY PEANUT FROSTING
8 oz Cream cheese; softened 2 ts Vanilla extract
1 c Peanut butter 1 ts Vanana flavor, imitation
1/2 c Milk 1/2 ts Nutmeg, ground
1/2 c Honey 1 c Peanuts, ground roasted
1/4 c Sugar, powdered
Prepare cake mix according to package directions, adding 1/2 cup
peanut butter before beating.
Grease two 9″ round cakepan;s line with greased waxed paper, and dust
with flour. Pour batter into prepared pans, and bake at 350 degrees
for 20 to 25 minutes or until cake tests done. Cool thoroughly on
wire racks.
Spread 1 cup Creamy Peanut Frosting between layers; spread remaining
frosting on top and sides of cake. Store cake in refrigerator.
Creamy Peanut Frosting: Beat cream cheese until fluffy; add remaining
ingredients except peanuts, and beat until well blended. Stir peanuts
into frosting. Yield: enough for one 9″ two-layer cake.
