1 c Light molasses
1/2 c Shortening
1 ts Soda
2 1/4 c Flour
1 3/4 ts Baking powder
1 ts Salt
1 1/2 ts Ginger
Heat molasses to boiling point. Remove from heat. Stir in shortening &
soda. Blend remaining ingredients; stir in. Chill dough. Heat oven to
350. Roll dough out very thin on lightly floured board. Cut into
desired shapes. Place on lightly greased sheet. Bake 5-7 minutes. Do
not overbake.
