Ingredients
  

  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 cup all purpose flour
  • 3 tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extarct
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 tsp baking powder

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 325F/160C. Spray the loaf cake pan with oil or use butter.
  • Cream the butter and sugar together for 2-3 minutes or until fluffy.
  • Add the vanilla extract and slowly mix in the eggs one at a time. Sift the flour and baking powder 2-3 times. Add the sifted flour to the eggs in intervals folding the flour into the batter until batter is homogeneous and smooth.
  • Place the batter into you loaf cake pan. and even out the batter.
  • Place into preheated oven and bake for approximately 60 minutes. To check if the pound is ready slightly press the top, it should spring back. Once pound cake is ready remove from loaf cake pan and cool on wired rack.
