Ingredients
  

  • 2 Cups (9oz, 250 grams) all purpose flour
  • 1 Stick ( 5oz, 140 grams) Butter Unsalted diced
  • 1/2 Cup ((3 1/2oz, 100 grams) granulated sugar
  • 1 egg yolk

Instructions
 

  • Start by sifting your flour into a larger bowl, then add the butter and sugar and start working dough with your fingers or stand alone machine with a paddle. Work the mixture until it develops into yellow crumbs, Add the egg yolk and knead or mix the dough until it become nice and smooth. Once the dough is complete and homogeneous, flatten it to about 12 mm and refrigerate for least 1-2 hours.
