Easy Peanut Butter Cake From Scratch

This is a delicious and easy peanut butter cake recipe from scratch that is quick to prepare. I’ve been making this peanut butter quick bread for years and it’s always a hit with friends and family. The cake is moist, and tender, and made with smooth peanut butter which gives it a tenderly soft texture.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 cups of milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 cup smooth peanut butter or crunchy

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C), and grease an 8X5 inch loaf cake pan.
  • Sift together flour, baking powder salt, and sugar.
  • Blend peanut butter into the dry ingredients.
  • Add milk and beat mixture until smooth.
  • Pour the mixture prepared pan.
  • Bake the cake for 45-50 minutes or an inserted toothpick comes out dry.
  • Once the peanut butter loaf cake is baked remove it from the and transfer it to a cooling rack.
  • Cool for 40 minutes before slicing.
