- 330 grams all-purpose flour 2 3/4 cups

Preheat the oven to 375º F (190 ºC), and set the rack to the middle position.
Add the butter and sugar into a mixing bowl of a stand mixer and on medium speed until the mixture is soft and creamy.
Add the flour and mix just until the shortbread dough comes together.
Transfer the dough to a 9X9 inch greased baking pan, pat the dough down, then place parchment paper over it.
Use a cup or small rolling pin to evening spread the dough throughout the pan. The thickness of the dough in the pan shout be about 3/4 inches or 2 centimeters.
Prick the top with a fork to make the classic Walker’s appearance.
Bake for 25-30 minutes in the preheated oven.
Remove from the oven and sprinkle some sugar over the top.
Cut immediately into 1 1/2 inches by 3 inches while the shortbread is still hot.
