Ingredients & Directions


2 c Sliced strawberries
1 1/2 c Blackberries
1/4 c Plus 1 tablespoon sugar
1 1/2 c Raspberries
2 c Heavy cream
2 c Flour
3 tb Sugar
1/8 ts Salt
1/2 c Unsalted butter; cold and
-cut into
; small pieces
3/4 c Milk
1 ts Baking powder

Mix sliced strawberries and blackberries with 1/4 cup sugar. Let stand one
hour. Just before serving, add raspberries. Whip cream with 1 tablespoon
sugar. Mix flour, sugar and salt in a bowl. Cut in butter until it
resembles coarse meal. Stir in milk to form a soft dough. Grease baking
sheet. Drop dough in six equal portions onto sheet. Lightly pat into a
circle. Bake 15 to 20 minutes, 400 degrees, in the center of the oven. Cool
on a rack.

To assemble: Cut biscuits in half and spoon juice over bottom. Top with
berries and a dollop of whipped cream. Replace biscuit top and drizzle with
more juice and whipped cream.
