Ingredients & Directions


1 1/2 qt To 3 quart Casserole dish
12 Eggs
1 qt Milk
1 1/2 c Sugar
1/8 ts Egg shade (optional)
1 1/2 ts Vanilla
1 1/2 oz Dark rum, 1-1/2 shots,
– approximately
1/4 c Dark brown sugar
4 tb Butter
2 lb Day old bread; cubed

Mix eggs, milk, sugar and flavorings in a large bowl. Grease casserole
dish. Place bread cubes in casserole dish. Pour liguid mixture over bread
cubes. Top with butter and brown sugar. Cover with aluminum foil and bake
in a water bath at 300 degrees until pudding sets ( approx. 40 minutes )
