Biscuit-type shortcake 1 1/2 ts Liquid sucaryl
1 c Sifted flour 1/4 c Skim milk
1 1/2 ts Baking powder Strawberry Sauce
pn Salt 4 c Hulled strawberries
3 tb Butter 4 tb Liquid sucaryl
1 Egg 2 tb Water

Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.Combine flour,baking powder,and
salt.Cut in butter until of consistency of coarse corn meal.Combine
remaining ingredients; stir into flour mixture.Knead gently about 10
times.Roll 1/4″ thick on lightly floured board.Cut into 6 3″
circles.Place on ungreased baking sheet; bake 12 to 15 minutes.Cool.
Crush 1 cup strawberries and sucaryl and water.Pour over remaining
halved berries and chill. Split biscuits and fill with sauce; top
with remaining sauce.If desired,garnish with low calorie whipped
topping.
