  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion, (yellow or red onion)
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 1/2 cups bread flour (plain)
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion or garlic powder

How To Make Onion Bread With Plain Flour?

  1. Dissolve yeast in warm water.
  2. Add onion and oil. Sift together flour, sugar, salt, pepper, and onion powder.
  3. Gradually add the flour mixture to the yeast mixture making a stiff dough.

  5. Allow rise until doubles in size, about 1 hour.
