Ingredients For Egg Free Apple Muffins
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil, or melted butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 large apples, cored, peeled, and cut into small cubes
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup apple sauce
How To Make Egg Free Apple Muffins?
- Preheat oven to 380 degrees F.
- Add the flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder, into a bowl and whisk together. Set aside.
- In a medium-sized bowl combine oil or melted butter, sour cream, vanilla, honey, and apple sauce and give it a stir.
- Add the flour mixture and cubed apples and mix to combine. The batter will be on the stiff side.
- Divide batter evenly into 12 greased or lined muffin cups.
- Bake at 380 degrees F. for 18-20 minutes or until golden in color, you can insert a toothpick into the center, the muffins are ready if it comes out clean.
- Remove the eggless muffins from the oven and let them cool in the tin for 5 minutes, then transfer them to a cooling rack.
- Keep the eggless muffins stored in an airtight container at room temperature. They will keep it for one week. You can also freeze them for up to three months.
