Ingredients & Directions


16 oz Can chocolate syrup
14 oz Can Sweetened Condensed Milk
ds Salt
1 1/2 ts Real vanilla extract

DIPPERS
Pound Cake Cubes
Orange Slices
Pineapple chunks
Banana slices
Grapes
Peach chunks
Pear slices
Kiwifruit slices
Cherries with stems
Strawberries
Melon balls
Apple wedges
Dried apricots
Angle food cake cubes
Marshmallows

Conventional: In heavy saucepan, combine syrup, sweetened condensed
milk and salt. Over medium heat, cook and stir 12 – 15 minutes or
until slightly thickened. Remove from heat; stir in vanilla. Serve
warm with dippers. Refrigerate leftovers. To reheat – in small
heavy saucepan, combine desired amount of sauce and small amount of
water. Over low heat, stir constantly until heated.

Microwave: In 1 quart glass measure, combine syrup, sweetened
condensed milk and salt. Microwave on full power 3 – 4 minutes,
stirring after two minutes. Stir in vanilla. Refrigerate leftovers.
To reheat in microwave; comine desired amount of sauce and small
amount of water. Cover and microwave on 50% power for 2 minutes or
longer until desired texture.

Can be served warm or cold over ice cream as well.

Can be made several weeks ahead. Store tightly covered in
refrigerator.
