  • 1 cup butter
  • 2 cups all purpose flour, sifted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon lime zest
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
  • 1/2 cup icing sugar, (powdered sugar), plus some for coating

How To Make Wedding Ring Cookies?

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees, and line a baking sheet with parchment paper
  2. Add the butter and sugar into a bowl and beat with a hand mixer until the mixture is creamy.
  3. Add the vanilla extract, flour, lime zest, and pecans or walnuts and mix until the cookie dough comes together.
  4. Form the cookie dough into 1-inch balls then place them onto a lined baking and slightly press the top. You can also roll them out into rings or crescents. 
  5. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the cookies are slightly golden brown.
  6. Remove from the oven and allow the cookies to cool.
  7. Roll into the icing sugar to coat.
