Ingredients & Directions

2 1/4 c Unbleached flour
2 Eggs
2 ts Baking powder
1/2 c Canned yams, chopped
2 ts Baking soda
2 c Chopped tart green apples
1/4 ts Allspiced
1/2 c Walnuts, chopped
1/4 ts Nutmeg
1/2 c Raisins
2/3 c Pure maple syrup 2 T cream
2 tb Orange marmalade OR
2 tb Grand Marnier
1/2 c Butter, softened

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Sift together flour, baking powder, baking
soda, allspice and nutmeg. Set aside.

In separate bowl, combine maple syrup, butter and eggs, and beat with
electric mixer for 3 minutes.
