1 c Black walnuts; chopped
1/2 c Butter
1 1/4 c Brown sugar; sifted

Mix and sift flour, baking soda, powder and salt; add nuts and mix. Cream
butter and add sugar gradually and cream until fluffy. Add well-beaten egg

preheated oven for 12 minutes. When cool spread with chocolate frosting.

Combine chocolate, slightly beaten egg yolk, and cream; add sugar and mix
well. SOURCE: “I don’t know”, g!. While going some of the things that
were in the attic when we moved back home I came across a loose leaf
notebook packed in with some children books that we had moved here from
Levittown, P.A. in 1965. I remember putting all the clippings I had saved
from the newspapers and magazines on to paper and saving them in this book.
It is filled with treasures (if in age only) and I have had a ball keying
them in here. I shall put this note on each recipe.
