Ingredients & Directions


2 c All-purpose flour; sifted
2 ts Baking powder
1 ts Baking soda
1 1/2 ts Cinnamon
1/2 ts Salt
1/2 ts Ground cloves
1/4 ts Allspice
1/4 ts Ground ginger
2 c Sugar
4 Eggs
1 lb Canned pumpkin
1 c Vegetable oil
1 c All-Bran Cereal
6 oz Semisweet chocolate chips
1 c Coarsely chopped nuts
Confectioner’s sugar

Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, sugar, and spices.
Set aside.

Beat eggs until frothy. Add pumpkin, oil, and cereal. Mix well. Add dry
ingredients, and stir until combined. Stir in chocolate and nuts. Spread in
an ungreased tube pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. When cool, place on
plate and drizzle with confectioner’s sugar if desired.
