Ingredients & Directions


2 c Fresh broccoli or
Cauliflower — chopped OR
10 oz Pkg
Cauliflower
1/2 c Chopped onion
1/2 c Chopped green pepper
1 c Shredded Cheddar Cheese
1 1/2 c Milk
3/4 c Buttermilk baking mix
3 Eggs
1/2 ts Salt
1/2 ts Lawrey’s seasoning
1 ds Garlic powder
Frozen broccoli or

Heat oven to 400* F. Lightly grease 10×1-1/2-inch pie plate. Heat two
cups of salted water to boiling. Add broccoli. Cover and heat five
minutes. Drain thoroughly. Mix broccoli, onion, green pepper, and cheese in
pie plate. Beat remaining ingredients until smooth; 15 seconds in blender
on high or one minute with hand beater. Pour into pie plate. Bake until
golden brown and knife inserted halfway between center and edge comes out
clean–about 35-40 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes before cutting. Garnish
as desired. Refrigerate any remaining pie.
