- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 5 tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano
- 2 1/2 tablespoons green chiles (Jalapeno), chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 large egg beaten
- 2 tablespoon butter softened
- 1/3 cup cheddar shredded
How To Make Green Chile Cheese Corn Muffins?
- In a bowl combine the yellow cornmeal, all purpose flour, baking powder, salt, oregano, and sugar, and mix to combine with a whisk.
- Add the milk, beaten egg, and olive oil to the flour mixture and mix them together. Then add the green chile peppers and fold it into the batter.
- Evenly divide the batter into 12 tin muffin pan lined with paper muffin cups.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 380 degrees for 18-20 minutes or until golden.
- Remove from the oven and allow the green chili muffins to cool in the muffin pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack.
