Ingredients & Directions


2 1/4 c Cooked sweet potatoes, 1/2 ts Ground cinnamon
-mashed 1/8 ts Ground cloves
1/2 c Butter or margarine 2 Eggs, beaten
1 1/4 c Sugar 2 (5 1/3-oz) canned evaporated
1 tb Flour -milk
1/2 ts Salt 2/3 c Milk
1/2 ts Ground nutmeg 9 Inch unbaked pastry shells
1/2 ts Ground ginger

Combine sweet potatoes and butter, mixing until blended. Add combined
sugar, flour and spices: mix well. Blend in eggs and milk. Pour
into crusts. Bake 10 minutes (I think at 400 degrees F, I lost my
original recipe), reduce oven to 350 degrees F., continue baking 50
to 60 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
