- 5 large eggs
- 600 grams milk
- 80 grams sugar
- 100 grams dark chocolate, cut into small pieces

- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- In a large bowl, add the eggs and sugar and lightly beat them together.
- Add the milk into a pot and bring it to a bowl.
- Break up the chocolate pieces and place them into a boil. Pour the hot milk over the chocolate and stir until the chocolate is completely melted.
- Slowly combine the chocolate mixture with the eggs and stir together.
- Pour the chocolate cream into the ramekins and place them into a larger deep baking pan.
- Add hot water to the pan until it covers half the ramekins.
- Bake in a bain-marie for about 20 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and allow the chocolate pudding to cool.
- Serve with shredded dark chocolate on top.
