Ingredients & Directions

1 LB LOAF
1/2 ts Active Dry Yeast
1 1/4 c Bread Flour
1 c Whole-Wheat Flour
3/4 ts Salt
1 tb Sugar
1 tb Vegetable Oil
1/3 c Lemonade; Frozen

“Sweet, but not cloying, and slightly tart, this is good beach food or
porch food. If you slice and wrap the bread in your beach towel
before you leave home, there will be no paper or plastic wrapper to
add to the trash on the beach. Just shake out the crumbs before you
dry off.”

Add all ingredients in the order suggested by your bread machine
manual and process on the basic bread cycle according to the
manufacturer’s directions.

[Notice that the large loaf calls for less lemonade concentrate than
the small loaf. I don’t know why, but that’s how it was written in
the book.]
